We booked a room in Opelousas, La. for a week to settle the estate of my husbands' brother.

Upon enteringvthe room, we were hit with a horrendous gagging odor! The floor boards were buckled up by the bed which were sure to cause a foot/toe injury. The sink was cracked and funky...my husband was dry heaving from the smell, we never brought our bags in! The two women at the desk refused to refund!!

This was during Covid a yr ago. Sign on door said must wear masks...the ladies were NOT.

We left and booked elsewhere. Discover Card said because Snap Travel posts a no refund policy, we were denied a refund! Later we found by locals and relatives...that this hotel was usually *** and druggies!?We are from NJ,had no idea.

Almost 2 yrs...and no refund!

WE NEED TO BAND TOGETHER AND FILE A CLASS ACTION SUIT. ANYONE KNOW AN ATTORNEY??

User's recommendation: Steer Clear of Snap Travel.

Monetary Loss: $500.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
